Jump to the spoiler section for the exclusive scoop on Boone's return. Plus, get dish on Desperate Housewives' newest resident, scoop on what the suicide bomber does to Godric's nest on True Blood, a surprising character turn on Grey's Anatomy and news about which character didn't survive the Chuck finale.

Marie in Boston: Mad Men is almost here! What's the skinny on the new season?

Sources tell us that this season of Mad Men is "really racy." The show gets more risqué this year, as a number of characters explore their sexuality. Look for at least one makeout sesh in the season premiere.

Glenna in San Antonio, Texas.: I'm so happy So You Think You Can Dance was nominated for the Emmys again this year. How long does it take for the choreographers to come up with those amazing dances?
We know some of the choreographers plan their pieces months in advance, but Emmy Award-winning choreographer Mia Michaels works on the fly. "I do it the night before," Mia tells us. "I find out who I get, and that night I go home and sit in my office, listen to music and think of how I want to express myself through them and their instruments and personalities." Do the producers get nervous? Mia says, "They know me on the show now, and they know I'm going to deliver no matter what."

Stacy in Washington, D.C.: Are we going to see a love interest for Casey on Chuck anytime soon?
Sorry, Chuck fans, Casey probably won't get a permanent lady friend any time soon. As Chuck star Adam Baldwin explained to us: "It's an 8 p.m. show, and we need someone with guns."

Savannah in Chicago: Is Michael Rosenbaum ever coming back to Smallville?
CW boss Dawn Ostroff says of a possible in-the-flesh, body-double-free appearance by Lex Luthor on Smallville: "I wouldn't rule it out, but I don't know if it will happen this season."

Hailee in Tigard, Ore.: Please tell me Brandon Walsh is going to appear on 90210 this season!
So sorry! Jason Priestley is not going to appear in front of the camera on 90210. Priestley says, "I don't think so. There's no reason for Brandon to show up at the new and improved West Beverly High." Let's all take a moment of silence.

Nate in Santa Monica, Calif.: Can you give me any scoop on which Lost alums are coming back?
Ian Somerhalder confirmed to us that Boone is returning to the show, but true to Lost form, he has no idea what's going to happen. "I probably won't know until I'm landing in Hawaii," joked Somerhalder. Well, at least we all know Boone is dead. "Or is he?" said Somerhalder. Ian shared his take on what he'd like to see happen for Boone, dead or alive: "I would like to see him find his power. I think there was always solidarity there. Boone was a pretty successful guy who [was] in his own world and had created a certain amount of responsibility that he had. I think there was power in that, and when they took him out of his element, I think he lost his power, and we never got to see him come into fruition, by virtue of his untimely death."

Melody in Orange, Calif.: I'm dying to know more about Dominic Monaghan's character on Flash Forward. What can you tell us?
Flash Forward producer Marc Guggenheim tells us, "Dominic Monaghan's character, Simon, is the smartest man in the world, and he definitely knows it. He's mysterious, but not just for story reasons. He's a mysterious kind of person. He's someone that's so intelligent that he has a difficult time interfacing with people on a human level, because he's just so much smarter than them. He's an enigmatic figure whom I hope you'll want to get to know over the course of the first season."

Charlotte in New Mexico: Talk to me about True Blood! What happens with the suicide bomber?!
Don't worry too much about Fellowship of the Sun fanatic Luke and his body bomb—our favorites, including Godric, Sookie, Bill and Jason, make it out of the nest safely. Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) does get wounded next week on True Blood, but that's OK because it sets up an intimate scene between him and Sookie.

Michelle in San Diego: Any Grey's Anatomy scoop?
James Pickens Jr.
tells us, "The Chief has some really interesting stuff coming up this season. There's a part of his personal life that viewers haven't seen yet, and it's going to be very intriguing, and they're going to really like what's going to happen." As far as how George's (T.R. Knight) death is going to affect everyone, Pickens says, "Each person is going to be touched in a different way. Everyone is going to be affected. [Knight] was an integral part of the cast, and he's one of the more talented guys I've worked with, so I wish him well." And in case you're wondering, sources tell us that Chandra Wilson is already in "prep" for her directorial debut, which is set for either episode six or seven.

Ann in San Jose, Calif.: Got any Chuck news?
We always have more Chuck news. We can tell you that Chevy Chase's computer billionaire character, Ted Roark, won't be coming back: "I got killed. I got shot right in the heart. Dead," says Chevy. Don't forget, you can see the veteran funnyman on Joel McHale's Community instead. (Yay!)

Brenda in Los Angeles: Do you have any more scoop on Drea de Matteo's character on Desperate Housewives?
When we talked to the Housewives this weekend, even Drea de Matteo herself couldn't say much about incoming character Angie Bolen, but her costar Dana Delany (Katherine) did spill a few tidbits that may pique your interest: "She's such a mystery; we don't really know who she is yet. She started out very friendly and is starting to show her strength." As for who's really under the veil, Delany said, "Lets just put it this way: Both Susan [Teri Hatcher] and Katherine believe that they're the bride. It's not good [for their friendship]. I'm very happy with my storyline this season because Katherine is getting to be a little snarky again. She's getting her edge back."

Maggie in Dallas: I love those pictures of Betty's new makeover on Ugly Betty. She's not so ugly anymore!
Apparently the pictures you saw of Betty's makeover are not quite how she's going to appear on the show. "That was more America than Betty," a source reveals. We'll actually still see Betty with glasses, though her specs are a little less funky than before, and her braces won't come off until around midseason.

Lily in Detroit: We heard Michelle Trachtenberg might be getting a new love interest on Gossip Girl. Any news?
Not quite yet, but it sounds like Michelle would like to play the field a bit longer on Gossip Girl. "She is making out with all the boys," says Michelle Trachtenberg. "Nooo, that was my request," jokes the star. Wanna know what really happens? "You'll have to see." (Gossip Girl premieres Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. on the CW.)

Paul Drinkwater / NBC

Anna in Long Island, N.Y.: Is there any chance for Dwangela on The Office?
The Office
writer-producer-actor B.J. Novak tells us, "I love seeing Dwight as Dwight and Angela as Angela. While it was really exciting to see them together, I think there is still so much comedy you can show with Dwight being single, Dwight just being himself and Angela being Angela, so I'm excited to see that for a while. There's always hope [for them], and the past is always present with everyone. It's a small office, so all those things build up over time." Pfft. Dwangela forever!

Carinna T. in Los Angeles: I miss Friday Night Lights! Have you heard how they are going to wrap up the storylines of all the kids who graduated high school and are now going to college?
Not even the actors know the answer to that question! When we caught up with FNL star Jesse Plemons (Landry Clarke) last week, he told us they don't start shooting the new season until the beginning of September. Until then, all we can do is speculate. "They kind of left everything up in the air at the end," said Plemons. "I think Tyra's not going to be there the first season, but she might be there the second." He joked, "Maybe we'll be texting back and forth, or I'll get an email from Tyra."

Mitchell in Albuquerque, N.M.: Any news on Friday Night Lights? Preferably about Matt and Julie, please!
Aimee Teegarden tells us she has high hopes for Matt Saracen (Zach Gilford) and Julie in season four of Friday Night Lights: "I do [want to see them together]. I think there's something special and sweet about Julie and Matt's relationship that it has to stay together, or else I feel like we'll have a lot of upset fans. Hopefully Matt breaks up with Julie though, so fans can't blame me." (P.S. Don't miss our scoop about Aimee's upcoming guest gig on Legend of the Seeker.)

Peter Iovino/Showtime

Natalie in Pasadena, Calif.: I need some scoop on the new season of Dexter. Tell me something! Anything!
Dexter and his daddy Harry (James Remar) are working much more in harmony this season. Says Remar, "This year we're more companions than adversaries. Last year we were butting heads a lot, and Dexter was very angry with me. At the end of last season, he offered me his forgiveness because he knew he was going to be a dad. This year we're having more of a grown-up relationship where he's an adult, he's a man in his majority, he's a father, so we spend time together in pursuit of bad people." However, since Dex is a bit busy with a new baby, Harry is riding him about priorities: "Harry is nagging at Dexter's purpose because he's trying to get off track this year, and Harry wants him to go after the Trinity Killer. We've got our work cut out for us."

Sara in Brooklyn, N.Y.: What else can you tell us about Penny and Leonard on The Big Bang Theory?
Well, we already told you that BBT's Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) are going to give it a go, but Kaley told us this the other night: "It's going to put a monkey wrench in the boys' relationships. They get a little jealous." How long will we see Penny and Leonard together? "I have a feeling it's not going to be long," she said. "They're going to mess it up. It's not going to work. These things don't work out."

Jocelyn in Seymour, Conn.: I have a question about Southland. What can the audience expect in the new season?
This weekend, the producers of Southland spilled that Tom Everett Scott's character does survive his gunshot wound. Look for the show to explore the psychological impact of the shooting on Scott's character.

Chris in Dayton, Ohio: Smallville scoop please! Anything on Zod?
Executive producer Kelly Souders tells us exclusively that we will see flashbacks to Zod's (Callum Blue) days in Kandor, which is the capital city of Krypton. Stay tuned for more info on the new season soon.

Dyan in Queens, N.Y.: Will we ever learn what really caused Tara to split into so many personalities on United States of Tara?
Toni Collette
says they can't just give away what caused Tara's disassociative identity disorder, but says, "They will reveal elements of what happened to her this season." Toni says that producers are also working on bringing forth new alters. Also, says Toni, "Buck is getting some. It creates all these conflicts, but Tara's not herself when she's Buck. Buck's got his own life, and he'll do what he wants to do." Will Buck and his new girlfriend, played by Joey Lauren Adams, go to first base? "Perhaps beyond first base," adds Toni.

Kyle in Irvine, Calif.: Thanks for the news about Wanda Sykes coming back to Curb Your Enthusiasm. Any scoop on her other show, The New Adventures of Old Christine?
Poor Christine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) is getting a divorce this season since Barb (Wanda Sykes) needs to find a man to marry in order to stay in the country. Julia tells us Christine doesn't take the divorce well: "She'll go through huge withdrawals. It's going to be a very bitter, difficult divorce for her and Barbara. It's going to be very wicked." Still, that doesn't mean she doesn't try to save Barb. According to Louis-Dreyfus, "I'm absolutely crazy about trying to rescue Barb from deportation. That's going to be insanely fun."

Devon in Ohio: Have you heard anything about the NCIS spinoff NCIS: Los Angeles?
Check out our NCIS story from last week if you missed it! We can also tell you that NCIS: Los Angeles is already in production on episode three according to Chris O'Donnell, who plays Special Agent G. Callen. From what he told us, they haven't wasted any time showcasing Los Angeles: "We were in Koreatown today. We've been all over Malibu—all over Santa Monica. They're really doing L.A. We've been all around Dodger Stadium and Echo Park," O'Donnell said. (All that in three episodes!)

Morgaine in Grand Rapids, Mich.: Can't wait for Californication to return in the fall. Do you have any news?
O.C.
star Peter Gallagher tells us, "I'm going to be on Californication this season, and I'm playing Dean Stacy Koons, the dean of the university where Hank Moody (David Duchovny) works. Embeth Davidtz plays my wife, Felicia Koons. I'm fairly antagonistic with Mr. Duchovny. I had the time of my life—about as much fun as any actor is allowed to have." Other guest stars on Californication this fall include Kathleen Turner as an evil agent, Rick Springfield as a drug-addled star, Diane Farr as Hank's T.A. at the university where he's teaching, Eva Amurri (Susan Sarandon's daughter) as a stripper/student and, believe it or not, Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl's Chuck), also playing a student.

Jessica in Chicago: I can't believe you guys were so mean about Hawthorne! I watch that show with my parents, and it's not that bad.
Indeed, tomorrow's episode of Hawthorne, "Mother's Day," generates some actual emotion, but it's largely disconnected from any genuine character development. Still, Vanessa Lengies (aka the girl from Stick It as newbie nurse Kelly) and Suleka Mathew (Men in Trees) turn in nice performances, as usual, so yay for them.

Interns Wanted: We're looking for a new fall intern to help us cover television for E! Online! If you live in the Los Angeles area, attend a college that offers school credit for internship work, love television and have strong writing skills, please submit a resume and cover letter to tvdiva@eonline.com.
