"It's nice to be able to talk about Lost without feeling like there's a muzzle that's about to be put around my mouth!"

This is what Lost's loveable King Kwon, Daniel Dae Kim, said with a smile today at Comic-Con, when asked for his true feelings on the ending of Lost. So what did he really think about the controversial series finale?  What can you expect from his highly anticipated new show, CBS' Hawaii Five-O, and oh yeah, what made me laugh /cry so hard I couldn't breathe?

Here's what you need to know:

People Are Already Excited About Hawaii Five-O: The ballroom was packed—totally rare for a show no one has seen! And the promo we saw gave further to credence to my sneaking suspicion: Five-O is likely going to be a new fan favorite.

James Marsters Will Be Back! Hawaii Five-O producers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman (also behind Fringe and Lost) told me that James will come back for more episodes beyond the pilot episode he shot because they want to have recurring villains like the O.G. series. Bump, set, Spike!

The Original Flava Will Be There: Orci tells me: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" Adds Kurtzman: "Just because it's new, doesn't mean you change the things that are essential to the identity of Hawaii Five-0. We're hoping people will see the spirit is still alive."

The Theme Song Is Still Awwwesome! "When you tell people you're doing Hawaii Five-O the first thing they say to you is, 'Don't mess up the theme song,' " director Peter Lenkov says. After initially doing a modernized version of Five-O's iconic ditty, producers revealed they recently hired members of the original Five-O band to reunite and rerecord the exact same song! Seriously, check out this video and tell me it doesn't get you just a little excited for this show. It's pretty infectious...

This Five-O Will Be Slightly Geekified...Slightly: "We love being geeks," says Kurtzman, nodding to his background working on Fringe and Lost. "And obviously have done a lot of work in that arena, but our taste is really broad. And Five-O allowed us to stretch past that. That said, we did bring in all the best geeks we knew to do the show with us—Len, Grace, Daniel—so it felt like we stayed slightly in our comfort zone."

When Asked What He Really Felt About the End of Lost, Daniel Had This to Say: "To me, as much as the sci-fi elements of Lost were interesting, I felt the heart of Lost were the characters and the emotional journeys of the characters and the redemption they were all looking for. And so when they found a resting place in the finale and they found a place of peace with one another and with themselves, as a result I was pretty satisfied. As far as Jin and Sun go, not that I want to compare what we do to Shakespeare, but I feel like they were bound to have a tragic ending. They had gone through so many ups and downs, and there was something beautiful about the fact that they gave up their lives for each other in the end and that's the ultimate sacrifice." Tear. Well said, Danno!

And now, the video that some of you may get a chuckle out of! Below, you can see Daniel talk about what the cast did—and didn't—know about the very end scene of Lost in that church, and what it was like to shoot it. As he talked, his Five-O costar/cousin Grace Park (Battlestar, woot woot!) either a) simply checked her FlipCam video recorder or b) nodded off for a few seconds while doing so. Because I personally a) needed sleep myself and b) have the maturity level of a 13-year-old, I believed she dozed off for a second and had myself in stitches. But you smart and wise and mature people, you be the judge!

Anyone excited about the prospects of Hawaii Five-O? What's that? I can't hear you! Also, sound off in the comments section about what you think of Daniel's take on the end of Lost. (I know I don't have to tell you how much I agree, so I won't...Oh, whoops, did I? Whoopsie!)
