TwitterBlake Shelton to the rescue!
In between live shows for The Voice, the country singer made his way to Oklahoma late last week. While enjoying the great outdoors, the "Hillbilly Bone" singer came across four men in serious need of assistance.
Bryar Blanton, cousin Lenyell and close buddies Adrian and Josh were at the river near the city of Ravia where they found themselves in a scary situation.
"We were at the river looking and slid off into a mud hole for about two hours," Bryar told E! News. "Then me and my buddy Adrian started walking and Blake Shelton stopped and asked if we needed some help."
Without hesitation, Shelton tried to get the guys out with his truck. When that didn't work, he decided to pull out the big guns.
"He said he'd be back in 15 minutes with his tractor. He came back and got us out and chatted for a minute and talked to us about hunting," Bryar shared with E! News. "Blake is an all around good caring guy."
That sentiment was shared on Twitter when the guys thanked the future Kids' Choice Awards host for his good deed. Their tweets caught the attention of Shelton who decided to have a little fun online.
"No problem," he wrote on Twitter after receiving thanks from the guys. "Now you boys stay outta jail!!! Ha!!!"
While Shelton has recently been put in the spotlight for his new relationship with co-star Gwen Stefani, Bryar was just happy that the singer was willing to do whatever it took to help.
"If it wasn't for Blake, I would have been out there for countless hours," he confessed. "And yeah I would say he is a hero."
