We're off the deep end, watch as we dive into these 2022 Oscars presenters.
Zoë Kravitz, John Travolta and Lady Gaga are among the A-list stars slated to presenters at the upcoming Oscars, the Academy announced on Thursday, March 3.
In addition to The Batman actress, the Grease alum and the House Of Gucci star, more presenters were added later in the month, including Jacob Elordi, Jake Gyllenhaal, Josh Brolin, Jason Momoa, Rachel Zegler and Serena and Venus Williams.
Will Parker, one of the producers for the 2022 Oscars, said in a press release, "Movies inspire us, entertain us and unite us across the globe."
He continued, commenting on the decision to create the star-studded lineup of presenters, "That's the precise goal of the show this year, and we're thrilled to welcome the first of a stellar lineup joining the Oscars stage to help us celebrate the power of film and honor the year's best in filmmaking."
Anthony Hopkins, Lily James, Daniel Kaluuya, Mila Kunis, John Leguizamo, Simu Liu, Rami Malek, Lupita Nyong'o, Naomi Scott, Wesley Snipes, Uma Thurman, Kevin Costner, Rosie Perez, Chris Rock, Ruth E. Carter and Yuh-Jung Youn will also be taking the stage to announce the winners of the award show.
On March 15, the show's producers announced added even more star power to the lineup. Halle Bailey, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Jamie Lee Curtis, Woody Harrelson, Samuel L. Jackson, Shawn Mendes, Tyler Perry and Tracee Ellis Ross have all been tapped to hand out the awards on the big night.
Gaga will also be pulling double duty on Oscar Sunday. The "Applause" singer will not only be presenter during the big show, but she is also signed on to co-host Elton John's AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party on the big night, according to Variety. She'll be hosting alongside Billy Porter, Eric McCormack and David Furnish at the fundraising gala in West Hollywood.
On Feb. 15, Good Morning America officially announced that Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall will be the hosts of the March 27 ceremony after three years without one. The most recent host was Jimmy Kimmel in 2018.
It will be the first time since the 83rd Academy Awards in 2011 where the ceremony will feature multiple hosts.
