Did the "G.U.Y." singer turn a grocery store sack into NYC street style?

Yesterday it was a floor-length, hot pink '80s gown...today it's a giant piece of butcher paper shaped into a sack-like jacket. Will we ever be able to predict the fashions of the great Lady Gaga? No.

Then again, some of the "Applause" singer's styles shouldn't be considered fashion. Case in point this khaki calamity. Whether or not the look is actually made from a bag is beside the point. The simple fact that it resembles the object is bad enough.

We will give Taylor Kinney's main squeeze some points for belting this giant balloon coat at the waist. That at least defines her body and makes the shape less sack-like. We'll also commend the choice of a tasteful black summer bootie. That set may be the most sensible footwear Tony Bennett's latest duet partner has worn in a very long time. But the wild '80s mom hair and steampunk sunglasses against the jacket are enough to make this a major swing and miss.

Not that the Mother Monster is playing in the same game as the rest of us.
