The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge shows no signs of slowing down.

Over the weekend, dozens of celebrities—including Jennifer Lopez, Nina Dobrev and James Van Der Beek—poured buckets of ice water over their heads to raise awareness for Lou Gehrig's disease. Many famous participants also donated $100 or more to fund amyotrophic lateral sclerosis research projects.

About 30,000 Americans now have the disease, which attacks nerve cells and eventually leads to total paralysis, although the mind remains sharp. Life expectancy is typically two to five years from the time of diagnosis. The association said Sunday it's received $13.3 million in donations since July 29, compared with $1.7 million during the same time period last year. There were approximately 260,000 new donors.

Cristiano Ronaldo accepted the challenge—in his underwear—and dared Lopez to do it, too. The "I Luh Ya Papi" singer accepted and nominated collaborators Iggy Azalea and Pitbull, plus her BFF Leah Remini.

Azalea got doused while wearing a neon orange bikini. Like Lopez, she challenged two of her musical collaborators: "Fancy" singer Charli XCX and "Black Widow" singer Rita Ora. Neither has accepted yet.

Nina Dobrev also did her Ice Bucket Challenge in a bikini and nominated Julianne Hough and Riawna Capri. Hough has yet to accept, but the Nine Zero One co-owner and stylist wasted no time doing it.

Other famous participants included Arrow's Emily Bett Rickards and Colton Haynes, plus actors Julia Louis-Drefyus and James Van Der Beek. While Ronaldo, Lopez, Dobrev and Azalea showed some skin, Emlem3 one-upped them.

X Factor's third runners-up did their Ice Bucket Challenge completely nude. Brothers Wesley Stromberg and Keaton Strombergstripped off their shorts, cupped their genitals and got doused with ice water. Because they bared their butts, however, Instagram deleted the video. The singers uploaded it to Vine.

They nominated Demi Lovato and Oprah Winfrey, both of whom already did the Ice Bucket Challenge.
