The actress, gearing up for the next phase of her Not That Kind of Girl book tour, debuted a fresh minty hue on Wednesday, taking to Instagram to showcase the new style.
"Newly minted for the Canadian leg of the tour thanks to @tanneyb @rheannewhite," Dunham wrote, posing with her sweet pup, Lamby. Rheanne White Salon colorist Tanner Bassett was given a shout-out for the new look.
This is not the first color swap the star has made in 2014. Back in August, Lena chopped her locks and lightened them to a sunny platinum blond. Many fans cried "wig!"—but the star confirmed the cut and color was real at this past Emmy Awards.
"A paparazzo followed me through LAX the other day asking me how I felt about the ‘speculation' that my hair is a wig. It was like the biggest scandal I've ever been embroiled in," Lena told E! News of the short-lived hairgate.
Gotta give it to Dunham for being experimental—fun, colorful tints seem to be having a moment this year, with stars like Nicole Richie and Kate Hudson leading the multi-hued crusade.
