Does this mean Deborra Lee-Furness can't work with Brad Pitt?
Hugh Jackman and his wife spoke with Australia's Today during a fundraising event for Adopt Change in Melbourne over the weekend, where host Lisa Wilkinson asked the couple to share their secret to their nearly 20-year long marriage.
"I've told his agent he's not allowed to work with Angelina [Jolie]" Furness quipped when asked how she copes with seeing her husband kiss other women on the job.
"I'm sure she's lovely," she added of the humanitarian before praising her adoption efforts.
Jokes aside, Furness, whom Jackson first met on the set of the 1995 film Correlli, is grateful to have a stable marriage in such an uncertain industry.
"That's the deal with this business. If you get it right, if you pick the right partner, then, you traverse all those travails and challenges," the actress, who has two children with Jackman, said.
The X Men star also attributed their strong foundation to his wife's two-week rule.
"We've managed to keep that," he said. "Deb had a rule, never apart for more than two weeks."
Which, apparently, hasn't been difficult for the couple of two decades. "And we don't wanna be apart. He tells really good jokes," Furness gushed. "I mean I miss him."
