• Supernatural: Check out the promo photo the CW just released of heiress Paris Hilton, who guests on this Thursday's episode of Supernatural as a demon who feeds on the disorienting power of celebrity.

• Grey's Anatomy: Kim Raver checks in to Grey's Anatomy on Nov. 12 as a "possible love interest" for Kevin McKidd's Owen Hunt. Ugh. Shouldn't she be over on Fox toying with Jack Bauer instead?

• Parenthood: Gilmore Girl Lauren Graham might take over Maura Tierney's role on the NBC series Parenthood. Tierney departed the series to focus on her breast-cancer treatments.

• Bored to Death: Jason Schwartzman lives to solve another crime. HBO's slacker-noir detective comedy Bored to Death has been renewed for a second season.

• Law & Order: Apparently the Gosselin headlines have not been overlooked by Law & Order, and in that show's grand tradition of headline-ripping, the Oct. 16 episode tells the tale of a Jon-like character who (allegedly) kills a Kate-like character. Messy business, this.

• Melrose Place: The New York Post's PopWrap blog asserts that Ashlee Simpson can't act. Anyone care to challenge that thesis?
