If a 24 movie really is in the works, someone should tell Kiefer Sutherland.

Just last month, Kiefer himself told us he wouldn't even consider doing a 24 movie until the TV show was done. "We have developed some ideas through 20th Century Fox Films," Kiefer said. "And we've all agreed that until we finish the [TV] series, we would not focus our attention on the film because this [the TV show] requires all of our attention. We're not starting a film anytime soon."

So now that a screenwriter has been hired for a 24 flick, does this mean the TV show is ending? Or how about the rumor that Freddie Prinze Jr. will take over in some capacity on TV? Here's the scoop…

We know it's hard to believe, but it's already time for The Bachelor's Jake Pavelka to hit the road with the final four and go on a few hometown dates. (Hey, time flies when you're eliminating four girls at a time!) And tonight we learn a thing or two about Vienna, the girl everyone in the house loves to hate:

1. She is a princess (not actual royalty, but her father certainly thinks so)
2. She and her dad are able to cry for no apparent reason
3. Vienna's pops just doesn't quite grasp the concept of The Bachelor.

"You've got four other girls and dating my daughter, too," V's dad tells Jake with a straight face. "Do you know how it makes me feel?" But Jake, being the seasoned pro that he is, takes it all in stride and reassures each of ladies' parentals of his good intentions.

That's the question True Blood fans are asking about Alexander Skarsgård's Viking vampire this season, as the series plans flashbacks to medieval Scandinavia that explore Eric Northman's origins and roots. Having already introduced (and dispatched with) Eric's vampire progenitor, Godric (Allan Hyde), the series is now casting for Eric's human father, King Ulfrick.

Apparently the actor told Australia's Courier-Mail, "I think 12 years is enough, a good number...The writers will have fertile ground to figure out how to arc [Elliot Stabler] out to another place—whether it's this world or the next." Meloni wants to do theater and film projects after he leaves the long-running series; Mariska Hargitay, who plays Stabler's partner, Olivia Benson, told the paper she's sticking around SVU for the foreseeable future.
